i am tired of sitting on my butt inside (the weather is nice out) and so that means your own possible personal gain. i want to bike around and take pictures with you and maybe also those you know. perhaps you understand the sentiment.
basically if you have a bike and can ride one, you can join up. i figure we can amass someplace, and bike somewhere and stop a lot to take pictures. if someone finds something they want to photograph, we stop. eventually we crawl to a destination and that's it. it should be pretty chill, despite this being written in all-caps.
i am envisioning this happening every thursday after work, around 6:30pm, starting on july 03 (see below). that gives us time to grab dinner someplace and head out right before the golden hour happens.
i am sending this to a lot of people (incl. you) because i think an awful lot of people take good pictures. it is also good to have camaraderie regardless of whether or not we are taking pictures. it is also also nice to get on bikes. if you like bikes and camaraderie then you don't even need to take any pictures.
how things go down is probably like this:
july 03. taste of chicago and fireworks (meet michave/jackson)
july 10. fulton market and the kinzie industrial corridor (meet daley plaza, la salle/washington)
july 17. off; go see daniel danger at rotofugi with us instead, seriously, it will be really good
july 24. elston avenue (meet golden nugget diversey/elston/western)
july 31. west grand; humboldt park (meet daley plaza)
august 07. ravenswood avenue (meet addison brown line station, addison/ravenswood)
